Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue connecting to a network with your iPad is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to connect to a specific range extender on your Wi-Fi network. I would start by restarting your device as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iOS software running properly:
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If that doesn’t help resolve your issue, I would walk through the steps in this article to narrow down and resolve this issue with your iPad:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

Aug 13, 2016 4:48 AM in response to piulsonby Diana.McCall,I saw your other post and I'm confused. Does your extender advertise a different SSID and password? Is it effectively a different WiFi network? Are you using different channels for the two networks? What happens when you try to connect to it?
