iPhone activity showing up in OS X dock

About 3 months ago I started getting a small icon to the left of my OS X dock. When clicked, It contains what my wife is doing on her iPhone. How can I stop this annoying thing from happening?

OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

This is a feature called Continuity. You can turn it off on the devices you dont want mirrored:
