Mac OS XI know of no way to do this. I have an @me email address which I set up after establishing my Apple ID that I would like to change to, but can't figure out how to do it! I used the @me address to sign-in to ASP.

Aug 12, 2016 2:36 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by dennisfromhuntsville,I tried the link. There does not exist a way to edit or change the original Apple ID which I wish to migrate away from. Also there is not an obvious way to delete the old email address which will soon be obsolete. If there is, it certainly is well hidden!

Aug 12, 2016 5:25 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by dennisfromhuntsville,Thank you for the response. I examined the support document that you provided. In my case, since the email I want to migrate to is already an Apple ID, I am not able to change the Apple ID. I guess that I am stuck with the old one for life.

Apple TVYou could just create a new Communities profile with the other Apple ID, and begin using it. Or create a new email account somewhere, then change your existing Apple ID to it.

Notebooksit sounds like you are under the impression that you can only have email addresses that are "issued to you" - by an employer or by an ISP like your cable company.
Get an FREE email address from Yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail and utilize it as the replacement for the one that is going away
