Does iPad store temporary Internet files?

When I had Windows I always deleted temporary Internet files regularly. Do I have to do this with my iPad and if so how please?

You can clear all browsing data via Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data (which will delete cookies as well)

Or you can delete individual sites via Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data (Edit button top right, or swipe/drag across a line form right-to-left to reveal a Delete button to its right)
