How this relates to the use of Aperture, a discontinued photographic software, is anybody's guess.

You should try contacting Facebook support.

This happened once upon a time, before.  I think it is with Aperture, although perhaps not exclusively with Aperture.  I can log directly into Facebook with the information that is not working in Aperture.  I think it took an update to correct, the prior time.

It would be an update to the OS, and not to Aperture, likely.  Due to security changes recently made.

Same issue, so I opened "Apple Photo" and considered using it.

Same here. Trying to publish from Aperture to Facebook like I always did, but now it won't work. Are they crippling feature by feature in here until the last of us switch to the inferior Photos replacement?

I am guessing that this is due to changes made by Facebook.  Several changes seem to be taking place with the syncing of photos between others apps.  For one, see:

Other reports abound re: Snapchat approaches.

I think the last time this happened, it was in fact corrected by something FB did.
