Is there any way to reset an iPad to factory if the owner has passed away

You may need to be prepared to document the iPad came from the estate

if you are a family member, in order to see if Apple can help you access it

with proof; this would be to protect you and all owner-users of its products.

The request may or may not be approved, depending on circumstances as

you present your case to the proper persons in authority, to determine.

If you can take any proof of ownership for that person & death certificate .

Make an appointment at apple store .
