iCal sharing: Share with or Share by?
Clicking the right side of our calendars yields either "shared with' or "shared by" What is the difference?

Since you don't share what device you're using shared calendars on or the operating system being used, I'm going to make my explanation a bit generic.
iCloud: Calendar sharing overview -- Basically, Shared By is who's sharing the calendar. Shared With is who also is receiving the calendar.
