Q: 2 different Apple IDs for Volume Purchases
My school is enrolled in the Volume Purchasing Program to purchase apps for 60 iPads (kindergarten & 1st). My District is asking me to use two different Apple IDs - one facilitator ID for purchased apps and one end user ID for free apps. I can't get anyone at the District to explain why they want me to do it this way and I don't understand why it's done this way. Why wouldn't I use the facilitator ID for both free and paid apps? The challenge that I run into is pushing out apps through Apple Configurator that were obtained with two different IDs - 1 for paid apps and 1 for free apps. Do other schools and organizations do it this way?
