Q: no profile under general, settings to delete email account

After upgrading to El Capitan, my POP account would not send from any Apple devices.  I upgraded my server with Go Daddy.  I was successful deleting the POP account from my iPad and Mac.  I can not delete it from my iPhone.  There is no "remove" button under the account name.  If I go to settings/General there is no profile listed.  I upgraded my iPhone 6S OS.  I turned it off, waited and turned it on.  Still no way to delete the POP account.  I am stuck.  Please help me delete this so I can receive business emails.  I have exhausted the web trying to find a solution.  Thank you.

    Hello PowerUp30,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with an email account on your iPhone is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to remove this POP email account from your iPhone, even after restarting your iPhone you're not getting the Delete Account option in Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iPhone. Here is what I suggest to resolve this issue at this point:

    1. First, make a backup of your personal data on the iPhone to either iTunes or iCloud to make sure that info is safe while you troubleshoot and resolve your issue.

    2. Next step is a Reset of All Settings. Now, don’t worry, this will not affect any of your content. All of your contacts, pictures, music, and other stuff is all safe. What it will do is reset your custom settings back to the factory defaults. So, background pictures, sounds, fingerprints and stuff like that will have to be set back up again. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap the Reset All Settings option. Once that process is finished, then try removing the account again.
