Q: Tried to down load El Capitan, it did not down load properly, next steps?

Tried to down load El Capitan to replace 10.8.5.  It stopped and I received a tiny red letter error message.  How do I redo the down load?  I have slow wireless internet.

    You may never be successful with a slow connection. Can you take it somewhere with faster connection to download?

     

    If you go to the Purchases tab of App Store, you may be able to resume the download. If that doesn't work and you need to start over, look for a partially downloaded installer in the Applications folder and delete it.
