Hello all,
I have a conundrum with my photos. For whatever reason I can not open some of my photos. They were taken with the same camera, same memory card e.c.t. Some of the photos uploaded well, some not. They are JPEG files. Can someone give me some details? Is there anyway I can convert the photos to view them?

Several things to try:
(1) Try opening the file(s) in Adobe Acrobat Reader (which is free). If that doesn't work, try using Photoshop (if you have it).
(2) If (1) doesn't work, try to copy one of the damaged files directly from your camera memory card. The card will have several folders, and one of them has the original full jpg files. One or more might have been corrupted in the course of downloading, but the original on the card may be fine.
(3) If (1) and (2) don't work, search online for "repair damaged jpg" and you will see many utilities that can fix or repair damaged jpg files. Some are free, some have "try it for free" deals.
If you put the memory card back in the camera, can you view the photos there? If yes, that would at least indicate the problem is on the computer side. If no, the problem is probably with the memory card.
Can you open them in Preview?
What camera? Normally what gives users problems are RAW photos. Jpegs/Jpgs shouldn't be a problem.

FWIW, it is possible some of the jpgs could be damaged on the card. You could try what steve suggested but other than that I can't think how you could solve it. Maybe if you have another Mac or PC.
I can view the photos on the memory card. That being said, their are some photos that I can't view on the card but on my computer.
