HDD size limitation

HI

Can anyone confirm the HDD controller / device limitations for the iMac 27inch mid-2011, 3.4ghz, i7?

I Ask the question as I am planning to buy an 1 or 2 TB SSD and a 6TB HDD drive.

Concern is to do with the 6TB HDD drive.
