iTunes Store Screen Shows With Incorrect Resolution

Since at least 2 updates ago the resolution of the iTunes Store screen is wrong. The edges of the store are cut off and the side bar lists cannot be accessed. I have not touched my computer's resolution settings and the library screen is fine. My computer setting is 1920x1080 and it always has been. I don't see any way in iTunes to correct this problem and I reported the issue with no success. I'm not going to change my computer settings just to accommodate iTunes. Any other suggestions??

p.s. it was just updated to 12.4.3.1 about 10 minutes ago. It didn't resolve the issueUser uploaded file

Wow...that's all I can say right now. Really?? This is supposed to be the cream-of-the-crop, best-of-the-best, blah blah blah. I cannot believe I got on here looking for something I was so sure was either somehow my fault, or a temporary known issue that's like hours to days temporary! I'm reading this issue is KNOWN to Apple/iTunes tech support, reported to have an update with a fix coming - first saying "soon", that was back in October last year, then saying "probably not until January", and that's from a user who took the time to post that here, not a support person who couldn't even be bothered to reply to anyone here! I just HAVE to put this out there - this is further proof of why I have Android devices and refuse to go with Apple! I always thought it was ridiculous that iTunes/Apple products are not compatible with anything but their own products, so when you buy music, books, movies, etc., you can only use it on your Apple device - Before the digital age, when you'd go to a record store, and buy a record, tape, or cd, or to a movie store and buy a DVD, you'd own it, and therefore put in to listen/watch in whatever player you want! It'd be ludicrous to tell you that you have to buy another disc if you want to put it in a different player! I'm not buying 5 copies of the same album to be able to play one in my home, one in my car, one in my portable walkman while I go running, etc., etc. Sounds completely retarted right?! How is it any different than how they do things now - it isn't! Thus, my initial decision to go ANYTHING that plays music vs iPod, to go Droid vs iPhone the minute they came out, PC over Mac, and even PlayStation vs XBox! I have kids, however, who learned the hard way, so when they had their devices, I had created an Apple ID, and had iTunes on my PC here and there over the years for syncing purposes. Now for Christmas, a relative who lives on the East Coast that I don't talk to often, bought me a nice-sized iTunes gift card this Christmas, likely thought they were safe with that. So fine, I went ahead and installed iTunes on my brand spanking new laptop, and went to the iTunes Store to buy some movies. First, I had a ton of issues getting the purchase to go through. I gave up for a bit, and went to try again, and opening iTunes, was given an error msg which ultimately required me to re-install it to get it to open properly. Went to the store again and again had probs getting the purchase to go through, it'd just kick me back to the previous screen, and nothing showed up in purchases. Took 12 tries before miraculously working. Went to download the 1st movie - in short, also took 7 or 8 tries before suddenly just working. So now I am trying to watch the darn thing, which I'm already peeved won't cast to my TV like every other program on the planet that plays movies will, but now it's telling me my resolution's too low!!!! Naturally that's not at all the case. I get that I can go try to do this work-around thing with the DPI, and it's likely the problem because I believe most laptops/netbooks/Chromebooks that are smaller screens are defaulting to higher than 100%. If this were my mom or sister, they wouldn't even have the 1st clue how to find that! As for me, I am NOT changing that just to get your pos app to play my movie! I'm done, already bought the movies again from Google Play, not worth the ridiculous hassle! To think, I actually considered looking at the newest iPhone to see how it compares to my Samsung, try something new, maybe since it's been so many years things got be better....LOL! NOPE!! This just re-affirms my hate for Apple's policies, and my love for Android and my beautifully FABULOUS Samsung Galaxy devices!! Get on the ball guys, before you lose the 2nd half of your customers too, you'd think you'd learn...

I haven't changed the DPI settings or the resolution on my computer. My music library is still normal, the problem is isolated to the store. It looks like it is going to load properly (image from mid-load) but once it is fully loaded it no longer fits the screen properly. The right side-bar is clearly visible while it's loading but is not accessible afterwards. I have been unable to find a solution for this issue.

As of today the iTunes Store has gotten worse. Not only is the resolution still wrong but now the screen is full of lines and everything is broken up. Also none of the links are working. This is a mess. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on with the iTunes Store. It's completely inaccessible now and it appears nothing is being done to fix it. Guess Apple doesn't want any more of my money.

If your display is set to anything greater than 100%, the UI is messed up. A workaround, if indeed your display under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display is greater than 100% (like mine) and you can stand tiny icons and microscopic text, set it to 100% and iTunes will look "normal". Hope this helps. And keep in mind, this is not a fix or resolution, only a workaround. This is a real big issue for me at least on 12.5.1.21

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not looking for a workaround, I want Apple to fix this. I just got off the phone with Apple Support. No help there but the supervisor I was speaking to is passing the issue on to the engineering department. In the meantime since I will not mess up my computer's display just to use the iTunes Store I will make do will no new music. My default display size is 125% (1920x1080 17" laptop). All my display settings are default. Hopefully Apple will figure out that this is an issue for a lot of their paying customers and do something to resolve it.

Agree. I found this thread months ago and tried a graphics workaround which only changed every other thing on my computer but didn't fix the iTunes Store issue. Just wasted a lot of time on another wild goose chase when the product itself should work. Windows 10 has been out for what - a year or more? And I'm on iTunes version 12.5.4.42. In other words Apple has devoted itself to many many updates in the interim during which they simply haven't bothered with this problem. Which means they are not interested. I got in the habit of visiting the apple store on my other devices and just forgot today. I forgot that Apple only does what serves them. Maybe they should REMOVE the store button from the windows version of iTunes since they don't care whether it works or not. It's like a false lead at this point. A door that doesn't open. A room with nothing in it.
