Q: iCloud beta restore possible?

I have done my diligence in trying to find the answers, however can't seem to get a 'great' answer.  I have the most current beta software running on my iPhone 6 and continue to do iCloud backups.  I also backup to iTunes every few days manually, however not as frequently as iCloud backups occur on their own.

I have reviewed this website: About iOS beta software - Apple Support

In specific terms, it states: You won’t be able to use an iCloud backup or one you didn’t archive if you go back to the current version of iOS.

However, does this also mean that I can't use an iCloud backup if I restore to the BETA version that I have now?  If I did a full restore, will it restore directly back to the beta version or will it simply just not work and I have to start with a blank phone?  Am I wasting my time using iCloud (or even iTunes) and really don't have any backup of my device?

In simplicity, I'm just wondering if I can do a restore (and how) and have the device back to the beta version that I had at the time the phone was replaced.  Has anyone done this and had success?  I'm getting a new phone shortly, and without a backup that works, I'm concerned that I'll have to start over completely.  Can I restore the beta OS to the new phone?

Maybe you aren't getting the answer you want.

You can go back to the latest released version, or keep going with betas.

Those are the choices. You seem to want to go back to a previous beta version, which is not supported.

Depending on the data you want to restore, iCloud syncing may do it. Or a manual backup and restore of the data you want.

Thank you for your response! However, I'd like to continue with the betas, however I feel like by being diligent with my back ups, I might not be solving anything.  For example, if I get a new iPhone, and I want to restore my old phone to my new phone specifically from the exact beta version I left off from, will I be able to restore my old phone using the most up-to-date beta software onto the new phone and continue just as I had in the past?  Or, since I'm in the beta program, will an iCloud full restore not be possible on to the new device due to the old phone being deemed beta?

To be honest here... beta discussions are not allowed on this community.

There are resources for that in the beta community.
