playback head stuck in loop

Hi amingus,

I understand that you're unable to move the playhead in Garageband. I know it's important to have control over your projects, so I'm happy to provide some help with this.

Despite not being able to move the playhead normally, there are some other ways you can move it listed here:

GarageBand for Mac: Move the playhead

Set the playhead position in the LCD

Do one of the following:

• Click-hold any of the numbers in the Position display and drag vertically.

• Double-click either display field, then enter a new position.

  

You can edit the individual divisions of the Position display by dragging, or edit the position as a whole by double-clicking and typing.
