My iMessage doesn't say delivered nor not delivered. And for some reason the message never reaches the person. PLEASE HELP!!!

Every once in a while for the past 2 months, my iMessage won't deliver. It doesn't say Not delivered it just doesn't say anything under the blue message at all and it never says anything after a long period of time NEVER! The message never reaches the person. We both have good wi if, the battery on our phones are not dead, and Im not blocked. Not even when I send as SMS messages do they get the message. I've tried deleting the message thread but it doesn't help And have also tried to turn off imessage and turning it back on. And it's not the iMessage server because my family uses iMessage just fine. Someone PLEASE HELP! ITS STRESSING ME OUT! lol

Is this happening with just one contact, or anyone you try to message?

If it only happens with one contact, then it seems very likely that the issue is on their end. Ask them to go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Apple ID > Sign Out, and then sign back in again. If that does not work, I noted that you mentioned SMS messages are not received, either. That is an issue they may need to work out with their carrier.

Im able to iMessage my sister and it says delivered as normal. But when I imessage my friend it says nothing. And like I said I turned on send as SMS and eventually it sends as SMS but I get no response from them. And also a week ago my friend send me a iMessage but eventually sent as SMS and I received it fine but when I replied to them the message did not say delivered or anything nor did they receive it. You think it's on their end?

Just one contact. the first time it happened and didn't deliver it just stayed like that like I explaine. But a couple days later the contact imessaged me and when I would text back things worked fine I then. I don't know why

If this problem happens for sending imess to one contact or to all imess contacts? I Try restoring the phone. May it help.
