Q: Deleting Photos Library

Once a Photos System Library has been chosen. Am I able to delete the other Photos libraries?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), iOS 8.3, iPhot, iCloud and all software up to date.

If you don't need them, then you can delete them or back them up just in case before deleting them.

Thank you theratter for your timely response. However, this is where I have been for some time now. How do I delete a library that has had all of its photos consolidated with the system library? I am unable to do it from the choose a library screen by clicking delete or moving it to trash.  The same thing goes after I choose said library; nothing I seem to do is able to delete it. Please advise what exactly is required to delete a library from the Photos libraries?  Thanks again for taking the time to assist me with this issue.

I was able to learn that I needed to go through "Pictures" in order to delete the library, and not by clicking "Photos" with the option key which displayed the libraries are well. Silly me.

Thanks for not getting back to me and allowing me to figure it out for myself. I still have numerous problems with photos and albums not migrating intact to Photos. I'm back to calling Apple. I would hate to spend any more time bothering this community with the inane questions of a luddite such as myself.  Peace out!

This is not a Photos function - it is a finder function - in the finder select your user ==> Pictures - right click on anything you want to delete and select  move to trash then empty the trash - NOTE: THERE IS NO UNDO FOR THIS - so be sure you have a good backup and be sure you do not want the libraries
