Q: carrier disappearing on iphone 5c

Woke up Wednesday morning and my carrier was missing off my iphone 5c, I've since done a network reset which didn't work, then i did a factory reset and now my phone won't activate or be picked up on itunes. I'm guessing my phone is dead. The phone is now 15 months old how does warranty lie on this?
