Q: Uninstall 3rd party software on os y yosemite

installed Bitdefender on my macbook 12 and immidiately had issues with safari connecting to wifi. My problem now is to uninstall Bitdefender. Do i need to be connected to uninstall, currently my only internet access is through wifi. Please assist. Thanks in advance.
