I have made dozens of attempts to install the new IOS 9.3.4 software update on my phone for a few weeks. I have never had a problem updating to any new iOS versions before. Each time I attempt to upgrade to 9.3.4 I received a message saying… "Unable to install update" ..."an error occurred installing IOS 9.3.4" PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Try installing iOS using iTunes on a computer. Below are instructions from Apple's support page for doing so.

I encountered the same error, but was able to update by connecting my iPhone 6 Plus to my MacBook Air and launching iTunes. Thanks.
