Q: Unable to factory reset Airport Express

I am unable to perform any type of reset on my Airport Express (2nd Gen).  LED flashes SOS (... --- ...) in a strange color--not green/not amber.  It's kind of a mix between the two colors resulting in a light yellow/green.  Seems this might be some kind of fatal error.  Anyone else ever see this?  If so, any solutions?

    Unfortunately, this indicates that the power supply inside the Express has failed, and the device will need to be replaced.

     

    The warranty on the Express is one year, but if you happen to have AppleCare in place on one of your Macs, and it has been less that three years since the purchase date of the Express, the product will be covered as well.
