I have over 5 apps to update and Free apps to download, but yet when I go to download/update them it says that there is a billing error and that I need to update my credit card informatio. I dont have a credit card anymore. How can I be able to download and update my apps without putting in more credit card information?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
I completely agree, I don’t understand why I have to take my private account and bank information and be forced to add it just for the sake of downloading apps that are FREEEEEEE! It is my right to keep my bank information private and protect it, what gives apple the right to do this. I’m going to leave Apple altogether this coming Friday. I’m over it. My already downloaded apps like Snapchat, for exis no longer functional since the latest iOS update because it won’t allow me to update these free apps. I’m soooo done Apple!

I had to completely delete my id from my phone and create a new apple ID. I also had to uninstall and reinstall all of my apps! Apple is junk and I can't wait to get an Android again!

Otherwise, you will have to set up a new Apple ID/iTunes account without needing a credit card.
Yes, it's an annoyance, but then so is fraud, and this is an anti-fraud measure taken by most companies.
You can try adding some iTunes Gift cards to the account so you have a positive balance.
