MBP freezing and having trouble restarting since update

Ever since I put this update on my computer it freezes and when I restart it I get the wavy lines and the fan goes crazy.

Looking on my iPhone this appears to happen a lot! Unacceptable!

I was able to get it to restart in recovery and ran First Aid, but I don't know if this will fix it.

Anyone else having this issue? Solutions?

And if it comes back that it's a logic board or video card, I'm going to go searching for class action lawsuits on this because it started with the update. Before that it was perfectly fine!

cheers!

I wish I could but when it gets to the screen where it wants to select which volume to put it on it says it can't be installed on the disk because the Volume doesn't meet the requirements for this update.

Although it won't say why.

This is frustrating. What else can I do or is this it?

I'm not spending money on something that is Apple's fault. They used to block computers from downloading updates that were either meant for newer computers or didn't meet system requirements. Why did all the updates easily download, but this combo won't?

Please help!

Cheers!

If you can get it restarted, try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

Etrecheck – System Information

Try installing it in the Safe Mode or another admin account.

Safe Mode - About El Capitan

Safe Mode Startup – El Capitan.

If that doesn't work, do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Then re-install the OS.
