Q: Activation problem

My phone is asking for activation request after i have run the update. I entered the apple ID to activate it but it is saying that the email cannot be used to activate the phone. Please help me.

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.3.3

    Sounds like your iPhone is Activation Locked. Only the person who

    initiated the Activation Lock can remove it.

     

    Is this a second hand or used iPhone? If yes, ask the original owner

    for assistance. This is what the person who initiated the Activation Lock needs

    to do:

    Prepare your device to sell or give away

     

    If you purchased the iPhone new from Apple or an Apple authorized iPhone

    reseller, take the iPhone and proof of that purchase showing the serial number

    of the iPhone to the nearest Apple store where they may assist you.

     

    There is no workaround for Activation Lock.
