I see that iBooks is opening up the wrong books. I can imagine that it's concerning to have an issue opening a different iBook than the one that you are trying to use. I'm happy to help assist you in finding the best resolution.
First, try to sign out, and then sign back in to the iBooks Store and test to see if it still opens the wrong iBook. With iBooks open, go to Store > Sign Out. Then, sign back in with the same Apple ID.
If you still have an issue after that, try to create a new user account, and then test to see if you get the same result. The following resource will help you create a new user on your Mac:
