Q: Where Can I Download Windows XP Professional Both 32 and 64-Bit Legally?

Hi. Correct me, if I'm wrong; I read Windows XP Professional 32 and 64-Bit are now legally free to download? Where can these two XP versions be downloaded legally (no reason, just trying to revive someone's old PC laptop and perhaps dual boot with my own iMac via Boot Camp, to play some old games)?

See also System requirements to install Windows on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support. Depending on your hardware you may find that Boot Camp won't support Windows XP.

Where did you read this? Did they not say where to get them from?

As far as I know, you can download free virtual machine images of Windows 7 and 8 and 10 with a specific version of Internet Explorer for testing purposes. These are 90 day limited testing images and will stop working once the time limit is reached. XP is not available in this format.

I'm not aware of any full Win XP installation being available for free.
