Cannot update to Windows 10 Anniversary

Hello,

I am trying to update the Boot Camp partition on my late 2014 Mac mini. I am using the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor. Everything seems to be working ok but when the update is done and I boot back into Win 10 I am back to the previous version, 10240. I suspect this has to do with the Intel Iris 5100 graphics driver. I ran into this problem with a previous update and was able to get through it by deleting the Iris 5100 graphics driver. This does not seem to be solving the problem this time around.

Anyone got any ideas?

The latest build from Microsoft breaks a few drivers. For example http://news.softpedia.com/news/windows-10-anniversary-update-might-hide-partitio ns-after-install-507247.shtml . The Intel GPU driver may still be in your driver store. Can you uninstall the driver, remove the GPU, use pnputil to remove the driver and fall back to the Generic Display driver and then re-try the upgrade?

Thanks Loner T. I think that's pretty much what I did. I'm not familiar with how to remove the GPU or use pnputil, but I deleted the driver in Device Manager, and then without rebooting tried to get the upgrade. This worked for me previously when I got hung up on a Win 10 update.

Are there additional steps I should be taking here to avoid the graphics driver hang up?
