Q: icloud sync with outlook

Six days ago (August 8th) icloud quit syncing with outlook on my computer. I have a windows 10 system with outlook 365-2016 and everything was working fine since last January. Suddenly my contacts and calendar have quite syncing and I have tried everything I can find on the web and in posts but nothing seems to work. Has anyone found a solution to this? Here is the interesting thing, I have an older laptop (Acer) running windows 7/outlook 365-2016 and to date it still syncs perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried everything I read in both links and nothing worked. When I attempt to sync contacts and calendar by checking the box and hitting "apply" the icloud window blinks and the check mark disappears. There is nothing in outlook to indicate the setup was successful.

I have the same exact problem after the Win10 v.1607 update.  I contacted MS Answer Desk and they just point me to Apple Support.  Apple Support asked me to perform (1) uninstall & reinstall iCloud App for Windows, (2) update / fix Office 365; (3) attempted to restore previous OS.  Nothing worked.

Later, I noticed the same issue that you mentioned above.  Apple consultant mentioned to me that this issue will be escalated to engineering and will get back to me.
