Aug 14, 2016 11:19 PM in response to michaelabanby theratter,You need the Apple ID and password for the logged in account owner. If you don't own the phone, then there is nothing you can do. If you do own the phone, then you need to enter your Apple ID and password that was use to setup your phone.

The error message for an incorrect password would be different. It sounds more like a connectivity issue.
Are you on wifi? Do you still have cellular data?

Aug 15, 2016 7:59 AM in response to LACAllenby michaelaban,I´ve tried when being on cellular data and also when being on wifi. I think the issue might be linked to some problem with AppleID and should be reset, maybe this would solve it out (although up to now it was working OK).
