Do anyone has seen this appearing in Macbook?

Hi All,

I see this strange line (just above the dock, with X sign at top left) in my MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), when I open Finder. It happens once a while and have no clue how it comes and after restarting the laptop it goes away.

Anyone facing similar issue? Wanted to understand what is this and how it can be removed without restarting.

Thanks,

that's a new one on me...I've never seen this before. About all I can recommend you do now is to reset the SMC/PMU and then zap the PRAM (apple, option, P and R keys held down all together at startup for 3 chimes then released, and let computer start up as usual). How to reset the SMC/PMU can be found here on Apple's website under the support section or if you can't wait, like me, then google works fine as well... I hope you have applecare. I think you have about a year of warranty. If you had bought Applecare, that would be extended to 3 years....If None of what I suggested to do did any good, you can post back here, or make an appointment at your local Apple place for the Genius Bar. taking it in and having them take a look at it is free....after that.........
