Macbooks, RADIUS server, and Active Directory issue

I work for a school district and we have wireless networks set up using PEAP and a RADIUS server for wireless authentication to a Windows 2k3 Active Directory server.

Im working to set up some Macbook mobile labs with these wireless APs, which works fine with one exception. When a user incorectly enters their credentials at the login screen, the Macs are somehow forcing the RADIUS server to reauthenticate to the Active Directory server causing it to lock the account out after only a single failed login.

Is there any configuration on the Mac end that may be causing this or any possible solutions to the problem? The PC mobile labs do not run into this same issue, and normally accounts are given multiple attempts before a lockout occurs.

Mac OS X (10.4.8)
