Q: cant upgrade some apps

my iPad Air has 4 apps that won't upgrade. It told me the password was incorrect. I reset my password on the apple website and was told it was successful. When I try to upgrade these apps it tells me my password is incorrect even though I know I am entering the new password   Confused. Please help!!
