Hello,
when I visited news.com, I got a message in browser that my mac is infected with a trojan virus. Click to remove it. I did not remove it, but reset my browser. I am seeing some ads popping up and an adclick url, just before cleanup.
How do I cleanse the system?

I used a sw to remove mackeeper and it found some other malware besides that and removed it. After that, my mac became faster. Is it possible that malware can steak bank passwords even though they have 128-bit SSL connection from browser to the website?
