Windows SoftwareThanks and yes you're quite right. I have been running Win 10 since it came out and this is the first time I've had this problem. I have Tuxera NTFS on my mac as well so have had not problems reading NTFS format drives.

Aug 15, 2016 12:17 PM in response to tony6whiskeysby BobTheFisherman,If you are running Windows in Parallels you do not need any third party tools to read/write to NTFS drives from within Windows. When you see the behavior you described are you trying to access the files from Windows or OSX?

Windows SoftwareYes you are correct too. I use Tuxera when reading NTFS drives on the mac. The problem started I think when I had the drive plugged in and was using Parallels and accessed the folders from Windows but as I said I'd done that plenty of times before and never had a problem.
