Only some of my playlists and songs will sync

I am running Windows 10 (but the issue occurred before that too) and I have several Smart playlists. Some will sync all of the songs, some will only sync some of the songs and others won't sync any songs. I am using the 'Grouping' and 'Sort Show' fields. I am also on the latest version of iTunes and IOS.
