Q: Gmail account in MAIL App problems

Have problems using my 2 gmail accounts using the App " Mail" that is included in OSX . Please see the attachment. Before I start making drastic changes to my macbook in operating system settings I want to try to correct this error in the easiest way . Hope someone can help me. First wants to be sure I have the right settings for gmail in aplications " Mail". Are the recommendations on the links / images the best advice ?

The information you show in your screen shots is basically correct. You show screen shots from an iPad for settings on a Mac, but that's OK.

Gmail is set up very simply in OS X by going to System Preferences > Internet Accounts > Google.

There is a setting somewhere on the G-mail website that allows connections using less secure settings. Try selecting that.
