Aug 15, 2016 7:47 PM in response to Tom Wolskyby keithgvp,Sure, but don't I have the Nvidia card (GeForce 8800GT) that shows up in the list of supported cards? The difference is I have El Capitan, while the list is for Yosemite. How can that make a difference (and also meaning I'd have to spend $$ for the HD Graphics 3000? It doesn't make sense to me) Wouldn't I be OK with what I have if I just reverted to Yosemite?

Aug 15, 2016 7:53 PM in response to keithgvpby Tom Wolsky,Later versions of Yosemite are the minimum requirement for the application, which is why Yosemite is listed. Using El Capitan makes no difference to the application.
You have only half the minimum recommended VRAM.

Aug 15, 2016 8:02 PM in response to Tom Wolskyby keithgvp,I can't tell how much VRAM I have - where is it listed?
How can I get enough to use Motion, and what's the least expensive (card?) if I have to buy?

Aug 15, 2016 8:41 PM in response to keithgvpby Tom Wolsky,★HelpfulYYour second image lists the card with 512 MB.
You probably need to google what cards you can be used in that machine and what they cost.

Aug 15, 2016 8:11 PM in response to keithgvpby keithgvp,The cards on this page all seem to be 1GB (of VRAM?) and are affordable. Which one would you recommend, if compatible?
Thanks
