when i hook ipod up to pc before a panel would be on left of itunes,with a list down w/ music,apps,what device was hooked up,etc...Now when I hook up,it has large icons of my albums,apps...How do I get that panel on left back?I have new music to add but I need that panel to drag n drop....ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Have you tried in menu:
iTunes > View > Show Sidebar?
nothing on my view with side bar jut a hide menu bar,hide status bar and others
You can try Ctrl + S, but what version of iTunes are you using?
What iTunes version do you have?
Which model is your iPod? Which iOS version?
Whoa guys I know a few things i know ipods are 4th & 5th both are touch,itunes... didn't know there
were versions, and ios ???other than that I'm perfectly a pro.....
iTunes, go to Help>About iTunes, report the version number. It is at the beginning of the scrolling.

An old version. The latest version is 12.4.3. Can't remember where that sidebar control was in that version.
