Hello my ipod touch is a 32 GB. The problem I am having is it won't turn on , the screen remains black.
So far I have tried charging it for 1 hr and attempted to turn on but still the screen is black.

Try holding down the middle button and the power button at the same time for five to ten seconds.
Try the remaining actions of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
