iPhone 6 auto correction is not working any longer

Good morning community,

I am having a very strange problem that I do not understand. I always loved the iphone for his perfect auto correction while typing texts. This is not working for me any more for a loooong time. I don´t know what happened to me.

I am typing texts and the phone recognizes wrong words but do not auto correct them any more. Not even in the easiest sentences. I have to tap on each recognized word and chose the new option for it manually. I am having the latest IOS on the phone and tried every different settings without any result. This issue persists for me for a long time now. IOS updates did not have any effect on it. Had this alreasy two or three IOS before.

Does anyone in here know this issue or bug and can help me to get rid of it?
My installation language is German only. No other language is active for the keyboard.

Try

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

I know this procedure but unfortunately it does not solve the problem. Maybe its an error in reasoning and this is the regular behavier that the phone does not auto correct each word while typing but I had that in mind. I tried another test sentence and used a wrong character in a word. The word has an underline now and I have to fix it manually to the right one. Sometimes it seems to work but not always. :-(
