Retrieve my personal data from iPhone

My iPhone5S was under low memory recently. It cannot properly boot after a shutdown yesterday.

On pressing power key, an apple logo is shown on a white background. Then the screen turns off after about 30 seconds. I tried to upgrade to iOS 9.3.4 by iTunes but still met failure with the error code -27.

Since there's very important data in my phone such as photos/movies of my son I never tried to recovery it, which will cause all personal data lost. Here I'm looking for help to back the user data.

Could anyone please let me know if user data can be extracted from the phone under this condition?

Many thanks!

Hello!

Apple will not be able to retrieve any information from the device if it will no longer fully power on. However, you may have an iCloud or iTunes backup where you information can be recovered. If you were using iCloud for contacts, photos, calendar, and reminders etc, you can go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID as that information is not included in backups and is updated in real time.

I have heard many success stories of people just giving it a rest and trying to power on later. If it does power on I would recommend to immediately erase anything that is not needed and try to save your data.

There are third parties that claim to be able to remove data from iPhones, of course this would be at your own risk but if the information is really valuable you may consider it.
