Q: iMovie will not import iPhone film

I shot a movie on my iphone and imovie seems unable to recognise it and import.

    Hi Redilicous,

     

    Thanks for posting your question in the Apple Support Community. I understand you're having trouble importing a movie you've taken on your iPhone in to iMovie on your Mac. I'm sure you're eager to work on your project and I'm happy to offer some suggestions.

     

    I recommend taking a look at the link below to make sure that you're going through all of the steps for importing your media.

    If you're having trouble with the Mac not recognizing your iPhone when you plug it in, I also recommend taking a look at the steps in the following article. They can help when your Mac isn't recognizing your device, even outside of iTunes.
