Q: I have a keynote presentation that is timed with music. I recorded the presentation and the timing and music work great. I exported to quicktime so I could make DVD copies but the music did not transfer. How do make a movie out of the Keynote record?

1 - Inspector > Document > Document: in the dropdown menu select: Normal

2 - Keynote preferences > General:  select the option to copy audio and movies

3 - do not activate the mute button in Record slide show, if you need to turn off a mic do this in:  System Preferences > Sound > Input and drag the input slider all the way left
