Q: Cannot Connect to home Wi Fi
Hello. Using a 2012 MacBook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.4 and cannot connect to home Wi Fi exclusively. We had Time Warner come out. They gave us a new modem/router and updated connections/splitter in basement. All of our devices but my laptop can connect to the network. Our iPhones, Kindle Fires, and wife's Mac Book all can connect. Mine finds the network but can't connect. I can, however, connect my computer to other wireless networks through my Verizon hot spot and even a 4G LTE hot spot device from Kajeet I borrowed from library. Any ideas what could be going wrong? I ran Wireless Diagnostics and nothing turns up. The most frustrating part id my computer "thinks" it is online because the Wifi symbol is darkened. But I'm not connected.
Thank you.
Processor: 2.3 GHz. Intel core i7.
Memory: 4GB, 1600 MHz, DDR3

if you are running any Utility including but not limited to Clean my Mac, Mac Keeper, Little Snitch, Wireshark, any firewalls, etc. you should remove it as per the developers directions on their websites. Simply dragging to the trash will not uninstall these and not help. Also any Mac Anti-Virus application should be removed from the system following the developers directions, again drag to trash is ineffective.
