BACK TO MY MAC BUG !

I just came home to see my Mac's haven't been backing up since the 12th. At first, I did quite a bit of hair pulling trying to T/S using the usual methods. I thought at one point that my 3TB TC might be failing, but was relieved to see the THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of other folks all across the internet discussing the same issue since around the August 12th-ish. Yes, I disabled BTMM for now, and it is all working properly. Thank God. However, come on Apple, lets see a fix. 🙂

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD

It is indirectly to Apple. Whole point of it was to get other users to also report it to Apple, as I did, so we can g a fix.

Didn't seem indirect to me, but your other point is not what the forum is for. You are not supposed to come here to solicit others to do things. You might want to try contacting Apple yourself to see if there is an answer to your problem.

I'm not going to waste my time arguing about semantics ano petty nonsense. I did report it to Apple. I'm hoping others will as well do we can get a fix.

Apple engineering is aware of the issue. A solution is expected within days. Unofficial statement Apple support employee.

They fixed it. Of course the only way anyone would know it was an Apple end issue is from a back channel. Apple NEVER admits to ANY faults. NEVER. Now I wish they would fix FaceTime Audio calling/receiving from OS X <--> iPhone.
