Storage on a Mac

So i have a User on my MacBook Air is taking up 65 GB. I looked at the breakdown of the user and the biggest folder is music which is about 30 GB. So Im wondering where the other space is coming from. In The breakdown of the whole Storage there is a section called other which is 46.9 gb. Can anyone explain to me what the other section is composed of?
