Iphone 5 water damage

I recently put my iphone 5 through the washer. I let it sit turned off in a bag of rice for about 10 days. I charged it up last night and it came on and works ok. The only issue I have is that the wifi will not come on. Everything else on the phone works perfect. If you go into the settings and try to turn the wifi on that way, it will not give you the option to turn it on. If you slide the phone up and go to that option, the wifi button is blacked out. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello!

Try the steps provided in this article

If Wi-Fi is grayed out or dim on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ...

If your issue is not resolved the device will need to be serviced.

Hopefully the device has AC+ and you can use one of your incidents, if not it may be eligible for service at the Out of Warranty cost or you could contact your carrier to see if the device was insured.
