What do you mean by "reference"?   Select the cell or data in the cell?

If I am constructing a formula and want to "reference" a cell in a table on another slide, can I do this without having to type in the table name and slide number?  Is there a way I can simply click on that cell (in the other slide) and the information populates into the formula?

There is no facility in Keynote to link to a table on another slide or to "type in the table name and slide number".

You would have to copy and paste the data.

I been able to link (reference) in a formula to a table cell on another slide by trial and error.  I have to know the slide number, of course, and the table name/number  and then the cell row and column.  Once I input all the info into the formula I can reference, but it is painstaking and if the slide I am trying link (reference) has many tables then it gets complicated.  I thought there would be a way I can just click on the the cell in the table on the slide I'm trying to link.
