Q: How can I download and install the current version of Safari without installing current OS?
I just bought a refurbished 2013 MBP (MacBookPro) with OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) and would like to upgrade my Safari (v. 7.0.5) to the current Safari version. I've tried to download Safari from Apple's site, but it says I would also be installing the current OSX (10.11 El Capitan) as well. I want my MBP to remain on OSX 10.9 (because it's the last OS that supports Adobe Creative Suite CS6).
Can someone advise me on where I can download ONLY the latest Safari?
Thanks,
Steve

Open the Mac App Store, click on the Updates tab, install the software, and repeat the process until it says that there aren't any available updates. The latest public version of Safari will run on Mac OS X 10.9.
