Aug 16, 2016 1:21 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby ShawnM789,Hello Low power mode?? I do use it when needed. However I never had a power issue, I run a 60 plus family company of ours with 60 plus IPhones and I have yet to have a major battery consumption issue like this. Since 9.3.4 now I do, low power mode is not the solution. Back ground apps, location services all have no changes just an updated software.

Also try downloading the app Battery Life which is available for free from the App Store. Test the battery with it and if defective, schedule an appointment at an Apple Store for possible replacement.
Also if a restart does not help try a System Restore. First backup your device using iTunes. Also import your photos to your computer and copy all important data if possible. Try restoring from backup first and testing it. If it does not help, you may have to restore as New and reconfigure from scratch as the backup could be corrupted. For this reason it is important to have your photos and data saved separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a Restore:

Aug 20, 2016 9:47 PM in response to ShawnM789by Amyb0610,I have the same issue. This is not solved by turning on Low Power mode, closing apps, blowing out debris from charging point, etc. My phone just died at 60% charge. Plug it in and it immediately jumps to 30% charge. Something is very wrong with 9.3.4
